Tiny Dancer, SHOOT ME!

Henry Running The Bases

I CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE!

               Blue jean baby, L.A. lady, seamstress for the band
               Pretty eyed, pirate smile, you'll marry a music man
               Ballerina, you must have seen her dancing in the sand
               And now she's in me, always with me, tiny dancer in my hand

I swear this Winter is getting under my fur and I have had it.  Georgie keeps listening to Elton John’s Tiny Dancer over and over…
Freddie Mercury I think is wetting the couch because I only see him off it twice a day!
Bogey and Putter look like a couple of shag rugs, it’s awful!

              Jesus freaks out in the street
              Handing tickets out for God
              Turning back she just laughs
              The boulevard is not that bad

Don’t let me forget President Vinnie and Danny, they are so bored they are causing nothing but trouble.  I think Vinnie is coming down off his high of winning President of the Dog World.  He is just mad because everyone has moved on from the election.
Freida and Wally don’t want to be bothered.  It’s like Wally said they are retired and are sick of the nonsense.

            Hold me closer tiny dancer
            Count the headlights on the highway
            Lay me down in sheets of linen
            you had a busy day today

Barney stills believe he is the best security officer out there and he has Johnny watching his every pathetic move.  I want to scream and say securing the yard does not happen from the bed!

For myself I am counting down to the opening day of my team the Detroit Tigers, it will be the New York Yankees playing the Tigers on April 05, 2013!

I am sorry I had to include the song, I can't go through this alone.  I might just have to break George's CD, listening to Tiny Dancer over and over is causing me to go crazy!

Freezing The Fleas

Wally Dreaming of Michigan Winters!
Mommy gave three of us a haircut today.  More like a messed up buzz cut where we look like we have the Mange.  Awful!  Even with treatments we just can’t seem to get rid of the fleas.  I guess that is because our East Tennessee Winters are warmer.  Wally was telling me about Michigan when he would run outside in the snow and roll and play.  He said he never had to worry about fleas until about July through October.  I am thinking, I like the sounds of this.
We are suppose to get a Winter storm tonight, so we just might be able to freeze some fleas.  Daddy said he went to the store and people were stocking up on their Wonder Bread and Milk, like they will be shut-ins for a week.  People it’s going to be in the forties on Saturday, the ice will melt!
Also, why Wonder Bread?

Vinnie is Back!

Vinnie & Danny playing with Christmas tree bottoms!

I am in a mood.  Needless to say we have not had internet for a bit.  We switched out internet providers.  But to make things more complicated that little rug rat ate the keyboard.  We were all sleeping one night when mom hears the steady sound of  chewing.  Needless to say Johnny thought he was doing his own Blogging by eating the keyboard!   This dog is a pain in the buttocks.   I have not had a decent night sleep since he arrived.  On a typical night he wakes up at midnight when everyone is in a deep sleep and pushes the limit of what is good behavior.  I am sick of hearing him pull the broom around, taking any shoes he can find, milk cartons, and just being a pest.
I like to call him skid mark, his white fur is constantly dirty.  He has little red skid marks on his body.
So it’s the New Year and I will continue to update you on life in VonHoledigger land.
Thank God I am the normal child…

Happy New Year!

Oh, my!  Another year is here and we have so many great things to see happen in the next year.  The VonHolediggers believe they  will have much success.  We want to have a company that sells dog related items.  We can’t wait.  We also want people to realize that dogs rule!  The VonHolediggers are an unique bunch.  We come from many walks of life but together we are family.  We have many social, personal, and individual issues but we try our best to be the best we can.
We love our fans and anticipate new ones.  We seek to be the best and this New Year we will try to bark less, smile more and love endlessly.
Thank you family, friends and fans.  The VonHolediggers love you and we will change the dog World one paw at a time.

Cheers, Gezondheid, Salute…

Freida explains why she is not maternal

I am sick of hearing I have lost my maternal instinct, that is nonsense.  I am ten years old and not ready to raise anyone’s baby.  I have loved and taken care of my fair share of dogs and cats along the way.  Mr. Garcia, that  cat I practically raised on my own.  He ran away to the old lady down the street.  Then there was Doobie, Tommy kind of ruined that for me.  I used to wash and carry that cat around like I gave birth to him.
Now I will go through the dogs.  We get to Knoxville and mom comes home with Henry and I am like okay I can deal with this.  He was cute and well behaved.  I raised a good one with him.
Next you have George, he doesn’t need any help and after him is Freddie Mercury.  Well here comes Vinnie and Danny  they are such Momma’s Boys it’s not even funny.  I don’t have to do anything there mom has it taken care of.
Okay by the time Barney arrives I am like what a cluster &*%.    You have George and Freddie Mercury thinking they are parents.  Needless to say look at Barney.  He might be a big old boy but he’s kind of a sissy.  Not that there is anything wrong with that. I am going to leave Bogey and Putter out of this because they have not really had much time with us.  But, what I am going to say will be scary for most. Johnny doesn’t stand a chance to be normal.  If he takes away the following from each dog.

Vinnie=Vocal
Danny=Trust issues
Henry= Jumping
George=Pervert
Freddie=Slob
Wally= Street fighting attitude
Barney= Aggressive fence behavior

So, I guess what I am trying to say if Johnny takes the above habits.  Let’s face it we are screwed!
Maybe, I should of come out of retirement and raise the little guy.

Vinnie's Thoughts On Christmas

You can tell by my eyes I am over it.  I am tired and the Christmas Season has gotten out of control.  I am tired of my mom making wreaths, bows,  cleaning for the relatives and writing out an endless amount of Christmas cards.  Like Henry said in an earlier post the Christmas card was another disaster.  We all look like we are piled on each other.  Very unorganized and that little schmuck Johnny stole the show.  I finally fell asleep on Barney and waited for it to end.
I am the President of the Dog World and I have to be put on the back burner for all of this nonsense.  I thought Christmas meant mom and I got to cuddle and watch the Lifetime Christmas movies, play ball, go for walks, and reflect on the past year.  We haven’t even had a chance to make Christmas cookies.
Mom will be off from that JOB after Christmas so we can play.  I can’t wait.
I want to wish you  all a very Merry Christmas and Happiest of New Years!

Love,
President Vinnie Laine

Henry's letter to Santa!

Dear Santa,

I would like a new baseball, room to run, and to have my own bowl.  I am sick of George thinking all bowls are his.  I would also like peace in the World.  I feel by saying that I will get the baseball.  I am just being honest.
Also, I want to thank all my Blogger and Facebook friends.  It’s because of you that I embarrass myself in pictures taken by mom and dad.  I love you all!
